There are several foods that help you take care of your health, including regulating blood sugar levels.

Through the consumption of garlic, it is possible to normalize the blood sugar levels. In addition, this food contains substances whose effects are similar to those of insulin.

These nutrients are found in different foods. The recommended daily servings can be achieved by consuming 13 servings of mixed fruits, vegetables, beans, brown rice and whole wheat pasta.

Garlic

This food could help normalize glucose metabolism.  It also contains substances that act like insulin.

Consuming raw garlic daily may help lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Consuming all types of vegetables provides the body with a significant amount of fiber. They are also low in calories, low in fat, contain protein and a good amount of vitamins and minerals.

They therefore help control blood sugar levels to prevent diabetes and heart problems.

Green tea

Studies have shown that chronic inflammation caused by high fat foods and a sedentary lifestyle increase the risk of heart attack and prevent the body from absorbing sugar in the blood.

The solution to this is green tea. It indeed elevates insulin sensitivity.  It also helps prevent cardiovascular problems that are so common in diabetic patients.

Nuts

Frequent consumption of nuts and other dried fruits could reduce the chances of suffering from cardiovascular problems that are common in patients with diabetes.

This food contains omega-3 and essential fatty acids which help reduce excess glucose in the blood.

Red cherries to regulate blood sugar levels

Red cherries contain anthocyanins, compounds that improve the problem of insulin resistance, and reduce blood sugar levels as well as inflammation levels.

This problem prevents insulin from working in a proper way to control blood sugar levels.

Regular consumption of this food can promote better insulin use and lower blood sugar levels to normal levels.

The Red wine

Moderate consumption of red wine may help reduce blood sugar levels, by preventing the absorption of glucose from the intestines.

It is very important to consume this food in moderation and following medical recommendations, because it is not necessarily recommended for everyone.
