1. Classic shrimp wraps

This recipe shows you exactly what the original ingredients are so you can prepare it the traditional way.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peeled shrimp (100 g)
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise (30 mL)
  • 2 fresh celery leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (15 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of hot sauce (30 ml)
  • ½ cabbage, cut into thin strips
  • 4 wheat flour tortillas
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, then bring salted water to a boil, without covering.
  • Then cook the shrimp for 5 to 8 minutes.
  • Let them cool down a bit. Drain them and cut them in half. Book.
  • In a bowl, prepare the sauce for the stuffing. Mix the mayonnaise with the celery leaves, hot sauce, lemon juice and a little more salt and mix everything well.
  • Finally, take a tortilla and place the shrimp in it. Then add the previously prepared sauce. Roll, cut in half and it’s ready!

2. Shrimp and Avocado Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 6 wheat tortillas
  • 5 cups peeled shrimp (500 g)
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (30 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of Teriyaki sauce (30 ml)
  • ½ cup of arugula (30 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of salt (30 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper (15 g)

Preparation

  • Start by sautéing the shrimp with a drizzle of olive oil on a pan over medium heat.
  • Then add the Teriyaki sauce and heat for 2 minutes. Then remove from the heat.
  • Cut the avocado into slices.
  • To dress the shrimp wraps, place two avocado slices with the chopped red pepper and arugula.
  • Then season with pepper and salt. Stir everything well.
  • Finally, add the shrimp and roll up tightly for your wraps to hold. Enjoy your meal !
